So, I walk through the West End village on a regular basis and I spy Lily Luna. I’m enroute to buying two birthday presents so I thought it was worth a look. Once inside I spot some really pretty jewellery — limited edition pieces from local jewellers and some lovely wedding jewellery too. The girl at the counter is friendly, letting me browse and I happen to ask when she opened. Turns out it was about a year ago?! What?! Yes, I’m THAT observant. Any how, despite my obvious blinkers, there was some gorgeous jewellery and I’ll definitely make a point of popping in again. This time I bought two lovely pairs of earrings — some dragonflies and a silver and crystal pair to be given as birthday presents. They were wrapped in a little velour pouch, then inserted in a box, then in a bag with tissue paper. The shop isn’t overly full — some display cases on the walls and two central cases in the middle of the shop, but this is perfect for the display of jewellery(in a former life I was in the business) and the displays were lovely and clean. There is a lot of silver jewellery but it is all lovely and clean, no tarnishing here. I also like that when I bought my two pairs of earrings, these were the only two of these kind in the shop as the markers and prices were taken out of the cabinet. So if you are looking for some lovely and unusual jewellery then this place is well worth a visit.
