I know these guys. Peter, Duggie & Alister. Their garage has been on Leith Walk for over 50 years. Originally started by their dad. Best place in town for help and parts for your older car. Can be in here for half an hour chatting before getting round to buying anything.

I can’t speak highly enough about these guys. I had significant issued with my car, I paid £1000 to be fixed by one of the ‘manufacturers’ garages only to have it break down 100 metres down the road after picking it up.
Pilrig motors looked at my vehicle, identified the problem and source the problematic part as cheaply as possible for me. They also took it for numerous test drives so they were sure it was fixed when they gave it back to me.
Don’t let the look of their little yellow shop put you off, they go out of their way to provide excellent service. I will only give them my business and will recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

If I could I’d give these guys 12 out of 5!!! Over the years they have looked after our cars, servicing & arranging MOT’s tyres batteries, repairs etc. They helped my other half to mend motorcycle bits for free! They have given advice free of charge! A priceless little garage on Leith Walk!
Fair prices great service and sound advice I would happily send my Granny there to get her car fixed!!!
Good company in the pub too!!!
