Not the biggest range of fish in the city but what they do have is special and well priced. like others, I find their mussels excellent and their fresh fish is hard to beat. the staff are always friendly.
For me though, the real speciality in this shop is their potted herring.
You need to take a spare bag with you because without fail, the juices leak from the tray and through whatever bag they put it in. well worth the extra hassle.
Have also had some very tasty scallops and if not sure the best way to cook something, the staff are always pleased to advise you on how best to enjoy the fish.
