There’s not much you can say about a Royal Mail depot, apart from it’s accesibility and convenience of opening hours. How many of us(I’m guessing EVERYONE) have waited eagerly some mornings to hear a chap at the door from a postman who might be bringing our greatly anticipated parcel of glee. Only to come home from work one night to see the LITTLEREDSLIP letting us know«we missed you». This happens to me quite a lot. Most recently it happened with my box of contact lenses, which I know for FACT fit through the mail box as every other postman has fit them through. I was a wee bit annoyed about this, and partially sighted till I got them back. It was only when I checked the opening hours of the depot did I realise how inconvenient it was too. It’s open 8.30am — 12noon most weekedays(apart from Wednesday) and then till 2pm on Saturday. So really, the only time people who work 9 — 5 can go is before work, or on a Wednesday evening or Saturday. Really not very convenient. It’s also in quite a random location. It’s fairly close for me, so handy, but I don’t know how far they reach for postcodes. So, it does the job. It’s there. I’ve never had a problem picking up my parcel with my LITTLEREDSLIP. But the hours aren’t the most convenient.
