Great place to go for a pub lunch; the food is good and the prices are really decent. There are little nooks in which you can sit and have a pint with your mates and have some privacy, or you can hang around in the bar area. There are TV screens in multiple places around the pub and they frequently show football matches. I remember watching Scotland be absolutely embarrassed by the Faroe Islands here back in 2002. Throngs of folk were walking up the stairs to leave 30 minutes into the match, heads hanging. It was awful. Regardless of that match, this is one of my favorite pubs to grab lunch and watch football.

A cheap and cheerful no nonsense pub. They do offers on meals and drinks and the staff are friendly. It can get quite busy and cramped as it is popular over the weekend especially with it being so close to the city centre

Great old fashion pub with friendly atmosphere. The staff are great and there is always a very good offer on drinks from cocktails to spirits. Kind on the pocket and great place to watch the world.

Scruffy Murphy’s is a popular pub, the drink is cheap, the food is good(though not restaurant quality) the staff are friendly and welcoming. Perfect pub to hit if you’re watching the pennies! Good drink offers but going double on the spirits for a few pence extra catches me out everytime
