I’m so happy that they opened a branch of this spa up here in Edinburgh. There’s one not far from where I grew up in Newcastle, and I was a bit worried that the sister branch up here wouldn’t be as good. But I’m pleased to announce I was wrong. You could almost walk straight past the small entrance on Castle Street, but you’d regret it I’m sure if you did. The thing that I think puts most people off treating themselves to spa and beauty treatments is the ridiculous prices. That’s where this place comes in handy. The service is top-notch, and the staff are not only friendly but also very knowledgeable and highly skilled, but you want part with the equivalent of a month’s rent at the end of it all. What’s not to love?

What’s so great about Serenity in the City is the amazingly good value of all the treatments on offer here, compared to so many of the other beauty spas on the go in Edinburgh. If upkeeping your beautiful self professionally is a regular affair, then the treatments you’re going for need to be reasonable, because what’s the point in paying over the odds to look hot for a couple of months, but then not being able to keep it going for the rest of the year? If you can afford to get beautified up all day long, and chipped nail polish and pale skin are things you’ve never experienced, then the inexpensive prices at Serenity in the City won’t have much relevance. However, despite having prices lower than a lot of its competitors, this beauty spa is just as good as the rest, offering a large variety of treatments, including tanning, manicures, wraps, facials, body treatments, and waxing, in stylish and soothingly relaxed surroundings. It’s located right in the centre of town, on Castle St, so very convenient for a quick beauty go to during your lunch hour, or after work.
