How does one review a Tesco Express you ask? Well, one breaks it down to a simple junk food formula. Let me explain: this Tesco is right in between my house and my dance classes. It means, I walk past it right at the point where the healthy go-get-em adrenaline from class wears off and before the«well i’m near home, might as well make a sensible dinner» sets in. It’s both the best… and the worst. Believe it or not, i’m actually a fan of Tesco. But this particular store is always low on stock — the sandwiches/salads section every time i’ve been in has been tumbleweed worthy, which means I do dumb things like convince myself Doritos are an acceptable alternative. The staff have always been… ok? They aren’t crazy friendly. They aren’t crazy rude. They are just sort of there. All in all, it’s a pretty underwhelming little place — good for a quick fly by snack craving but definitely shouldn’t be anyones go to.
