The Make up and Beauty Studio

I used to be a student at Edinburgh Uni and naturally was looking for an inexpensive place to get a wax. I tried Zen and it was too expensive to be sustainable (even with the Snapfax discount) and Myra Crawford which was inexpensive but left my skin raw both times.
My friend recommended this salon and after two intimate waxing treatments, I can say that I am extremely happy with the amazing results and high quality service! Bronagh did my waxing both times and took off every single, itty bitty hair. She was lovely to talk to and super efficient… she even goes above and beyond asking if there were any hairs she missed and happily doing another section again if I saw any stray hairs. No rawness or irritation afterwards!
Finally, there was a mix-​up in payment for the first treatment and despite it being my fault for not catching it there and then, I mentioned it to Bronagh the second time I went there and she factored it into the price of this second treatment to compensate for the initial mix-​up. So nice of her!
I am beyond happy with this place and definitely recommend it for waxing… its as painless as it gets, quick and very hygienic (Bronagh used a new wooden waxing spatula each time she applied the hot wax)!!
P. S. When Bronagh or the other ladies are in treatment, they don’t answer the phone but leave a voicemail and they will answer promptly to arrange an appointment.

Apparently, but unsurprisingly a hidden gem in a world full of VERY EXPENSIVE rocks… I have found the woman to make me hairless for my (many) gentleman callers. Bronagh (and I impressively think I may have spelled that right) does it all, she waxes she nails, she massages and she is perfect. Same super-​spa like treatment as a got from Zen (gossip says she used to work there) but ½ the price.
Believe you-​me I can sit down on the beach Indian-​style (is that PC?) and play cards when she’s done with me. Hell I could do naked gymnastics after she’s done with me… I totally should, to show off how smooth I am. I’m Unilocaling Naked Gymnastics…

I have been going to Bronagh for massages for around 3 years now and she is without doubt the best Edinburgh (and further afield) has to offer. I suffer from excessive tension in my back and shoulders and no other therapist I have tried (and I’ve tried an awful lot) comes close to Bronagh. I’ve also had manicures, pedicures and waxing by Bronagh and again, they have been perfect; the hot wax used gives the best waxing I’ve ever had. The salon is contemporary, fresh and relaxing and there’s always a warm and friendly atmosphere. I find the prices really competitive too, especially for the quality of treatments and the city centre location in fact I always tell Bronagh she should charge more! Can’t recommend highly enough.
