Date: 31÷01÷16 Venue: nice quite place to relax before boarding your flight Food and drink: haggis neeps and tatties was ok. Ive never had it before so can’t compare. The ultimate burger was really bad and the chips were cold and rubbery. The drinks were really nice though. Service: friendly and quick. Plenty of staff Value: not too bad considering its airport food. Would try somewhere else before thinking about coming. back

The Nachos with pulled pork were below average… The guacamole didn’t taste fresh at all. The Doombeef and ale pie was pretty good on the other hand. It was my first time tasting it and I enjoyed it– I also liked how hot the plate came out. You order at the bar, so there’s barely any service. The food took longer then expected to arrive, probably because a table of 7 sat before us and the restaurant was decently full. I walked around the airport and I think this is the nicest place to grab a decent meal.

Better than the other restaurant in front of this one. At least for breakfast! Had a full vegetarian and normal British breakfast and we’re both good. Service is attentive and fast. Would definitely return there after trying so many other options in Edi’s airport.

Naja, Flughafen-Gastronomie. Schon okay.

Devoid of atmosphere, but that is the same for all airport pubs. Why am I giving it three stars, you might then ask. Well it’s the beer! They have an excellent array of craft beers, Rogue, Brooklyn, Goose Island to name just a few. On top of that it is comfortable and clean and a good stop as you wait excitedly for your plane to arrive to take you to sunnier lands. The best bar at this airport by far.

So I was stuck. I had a plane to catch but also a(very important and don’t tell me otherwise) rugby match to watch. It was Ireland V England. Now that’s serious business. Stuck in the airport, I was getting impatient. Watching the ‘live updates’ on my phone was not cutting it so I went on a search for a television and was overjoyed to find a nice, clean Wetherspoons showing the match on several screens. I was able to get a seat right in front of a TV and watched the match in peace. I found it hilarious that when the whistle was blown(about 10 minutes before the gate was to close) roughly 80% of the patrons leapt up and we all ran to the gate — everyone was on my flight! Other than that, this is a Wetherspoons in an airport: Profoundly depressing as a concept, but actually not too bad in real life. Additionally, given the price of airport food, if you’re not too picky a Wetherspoons burger might be your cheapest most filling option. Overall, sure it was grand… except we lost the rugby, dang it.

My boyfriend and I had time to kill before an early flight and opted for the Scottish breakfast, which was pricey, and we wished we hadn’t bothered. The most tastless black pudding ever, Lorne Sausage the worst I have ever tasted, no link sausage alongside the bacon and egg, and no mushrooms. I think they need to change their meat suppliers. I won’t be back. Would rather have a WH Smith sandwich and crisps on the hoof.

Probably the best airport restaurant/pub I’ve been to in ages. Typical ‘Spoons fare, but price-adjusted for the airport set. Still, quite reasonable. Good food, cold drinks, pleasant service. While waiting for a flight, I couldn’t ask for better.

For an airport restaurant, this place is really quite good. We had the«curry feast for two.» For 15 pounds we had the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Lamb Rogan Josh — both were excellent. The price also included two drinks, a pint of Fosters and a glass of wine. Oh, yes, and some poppadums were included, along with some naan and chutney. A real treat and not a bad bargain to boot.

Perfect for when you’ve just come off a plane from a long trip away, and need that Scottish Pint! Foreign beers are all good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s amazing how much you find you’ve missed the drink back home. Not quite as cheap as other Wetherspoons, obviously, being an airport outlet, it’s still a warm welcom home
