The Roxy is a really cool gallery just round the corner from Pleasance, with some original art going on there. They’ve had Nick Cave perform, and even upturned a car over a fence into a garden (with permission) as an advertising campaign. The building is awesome as well, with some really good art adorning the walls.
So for this it just seems like a bit of a waste that it has not been turned into anything better during the festival. Part of the Zoo Venues company, it seems to have been tacked on as an afterthought, with no real eye catching acts that make you want to go there.
A great venue, but has been sadly underused for this year’s Fringe
