What a lovely wee restaurant. Descend the outside steps of the modest Stockbridge building and prepare for a treat. The inside looks incredibly homely but yet modern with jazzy lightshades and layout. Good for impressing on a date! The restaurant is a husband and wife collaberation so while the chef cooks up your choices, his wife deals with the front of house. Waiting staff certainly know their stuff and let you get on with it when you’re eating, but can ‘upsell’ quite a bit — trying to suggest uneeded beers etc. This is a small gripe though. The food is simple and wonderful. Lots of dishes seem to come with chorizo including the cod I had, also scattered with mustard seed.
