Not the best for student lettings for the nearby Royal Holloway. They have too many properties and too little staff. Staff are swamped with work (I guess) and do not always respond to emails concerning landlords or property issues. I had a problem with my house, and the agent in charge told me to go talk to the landlord who did nothing about it. Contracts were broken by both the agency and landlord concerning everything from human welfare to simple inventory lists not ever being written up. Our boiler did not come with a safety certificate, which Aspens was supposed to have and would not respond when contacted about that.
They also tend to not know who the landlords are, which means there are many «slumlords» harassing students. When in doubt, it’s the students’ faults.
Find a private landlord. Do not sign a letting with Aspens.
