Quite nice mexican food, however quite expensive and you don’t get much.
This is a big american chain. You don’t get the authentic mexican feel. You get the corporate chain feel. If you’re into that kinda thing, fill your boots.

First of all we were seated quick quickly… thats the good part.
It took the waitress nearly 15 mins to come over to us and ask for drinks and food. She did not explain the deals on offer very well.
The place wasn’t even busy and it took them over 30 minutes to bring our food. The food was OK but it was a bit expensive. For the same price I could of cooked a better Mexican with an old Del paso kit, bought a bottle of wine and took my girlfriend out to the cinema.
Instead we were stuck with a waitress who spent more time telling us about her holiday then doing her job.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and decided to sit outside. Order drinks then waited around 15 minutes before food order was taken !! The food was fine when it arrived but what really let’s this place down is the service !! I understand sometimes places are busy but I can honestly say even though I eat out regular this place is full of the most miserable unfriendly and least helpful staff I’ve ever come across !! I actually had to ask 3 separate people for the bill all without reply !! Eventually when I went to walk off a very miserable and obnoxious waitress ran after me shouting I hadn’t paid !! I then explained after waiting over 20 minutes for the bill I assumed it was free !! Do yourself a favour and visit Frankie and benny’s instead !

Edited review to say they no longer offer free refills and the menu has changed, not for the better. I previously gave this restaurant 4 stars now 2.
It used to be a weekly place for a group of us to eat not anymore. We were very disappointed with the last visit. I had enchiladas, which after a couple of mouth full’s I left. Even the chips were terrible. My boyfriend ordered the mixed grill like usual and it was awful. Staff were ok, but it was obvious that we were not happy with the food but they didn’t bother to ask.
Such a shame as it used to be a nice place to eat.

We ate here after visiting the vue cinema as it is close by. The restuarant was busy but the food came quickly and the service was good. It was a Saturday though so they have to be on the ball. I had fajitas and they were good but I have had better in other restuarants. Kids food was fine.

I’m a fan of mexican, but saddled with kids, so the compromise is to eat in places like this a lot. Recently ate in this Chiquito’s while visiting the outlet and it was pretty much on the money.
The menu was exactly the same as every other Chiquito in the country as far as I could see — great if you’ve got picky kids in tow as there aren’t any surprises, not so great if you’re looking to try something new and exciting.
Everything else was acceptable to the point of being boring, which I shouldn’t complain about really — staff were fine, nothing exciting, but adequate. Service slightly slow but not stupidly so, food was on a par with other Chiquitos, and the general restaurant atmosphere and décor was absolutely fine too. Therefore a perfectly good, adequate performance in all respects but nothing to write home about.

The music, service and cleanliness is all good here but the portions aren’t great especially if you’ve got a couple of hungry fellas with you! It is in a very good location near to the Vue cinema at Cheshire Oaks. Prices aren’t too bad and the nachos and margeritas are good. Nachos are particularly good as a pre or post cinema snack. Deep fried ice cream (yes it’s true) was a pretty cool experience! It’s quite relaxing and a welcoming place to take kids where it gives them free balloons. No specials I’m afraid — just their standard menu you get all over the country!

Love this restaurant the fajitas are amazing and I find it hard to have anything else when I go as I love them so much. Great choice of drinks to choose from also. The décor of the place is just right it is friendly warm and comfortable the perfect place to relax.
Staff are great also it is a restaurant where when you ask for the bill you only have to ask once. Likewise when you ask for a drink it comes with a smile. It doesn’t sound a lot but makes a huge difference to the whole place.

Don’t think much of this restaurant, I have been and had a couple of fairly good meals but on the last visit the service was terrible and the meals were wrong. They couldn’t even cook a burger properly it almost walked off the plate it was that raw!!! On that particular visit (which was mid week so not busy) the manager was very rude and never came to apologise, instead communicating with us via the waiting on staff.

This is the perfect choice for any mexican food lovers, the customer service here is excellent and the menu is extensive. I would recommend the fajitahs which are cooked to perfection. This restaurant is also located next to 10 pin bowling and a cinema which is an added bonus.

The menu is extensive and the food very tasty.
Staff are efficient and friendly too.
