Launched in time for spring and summer, Fat Face’s Pacifica beach skirt has to be up there with the ra-​ra skirt and teeny-​boppers in the Top 5 of Abysmal Fashion. A mini-​shirt made of creased cotton, it has a fold-​over waistband and bubble hem — that makes it look like a hot air balloon deflating!
Luckily, the rest of Fat Face’s spring and summer stock seems to have been designed with the beach and park in mind. There’s board shorts, sundresses, tee-​shirts, reversible halter neck tops, bikinis, vests and kaftans. They even have a range of bikinis, flip flops and sunglasses — meaning you could in theory go straight from the store to the airport!
