Nirala Tandoori

It’s a perfectly average curry place. We came here to have a Sunday night curry with some friends. It’s on the other side of Enfield from us, but our friends live over there, so we trudged over in the rain to meet up with them.
They were fairly dead on Sunday night at 7:00 pm. Is Sunday not a curry night? Or was it a sign about the food? I choose to say the latter. Nothing was really memorable about the food or the menu. The menu consisted primarily of just your standard curry dishes. There were a few specialities, but nothing that really seemed that interesting. I ended up trying a mild mango and nut curry with chicken, but it was a bit too mild and way too sweet. My paratha was nice though.
So given the plentiful amazing curry houses on our side of Enfield, I can’t imagine spending the effort to come here to have an, at best, average curry.
