Parkside Farm

I love going to this farm. There is a good selection of seasonal fruit and vegetable. And I find there is nothing quite like picking your fruit fresh from the ground/​vine.

This farm was a great day out with the family. There is parking on site and can be viewed from most areas in the farm. On entry you choose which type of holdall you would like for each fruit and vegetable-​you cannot mix them. There are a wide range of fruits-​such as strawberries, plums, apples, and raspberries to pick your own of. There are also vegetables such as spinach, beans, lettuce and others available. These are all subject to the season. upon leaving you pay for the items and jams, cookies and ice cream are available to buy at the shop. We all had fun, and got quite tired without realising! The minimum spend for each person is stated at £1. However you end up spending much more than that. The strawberries were reasonably priced i remember for the amount we got– i think it was £8 for a basket full.
I would recommend a visit!
