Popped in a few days ago. He owned the now spare shop and has many enquiries for it and not considering offering the space without face to face negotiations, and not going to commercial agents!

I loved this shop as a child, still love it as an adult! Can be pricey compared to online, but the service and knowledge of staff is what you pay for.

As I’m on the theme of time warps from my last review, it forms a neat link into my review of Masters of Epsom. In an era of computer games and consoles, it’s nice to see a traditional toy shop still doing good business. They do specialise in collectibles and I’m sure some of their clientele are canny investors who are snapping up toys to store away and sell in the future for a profit However, there are also a healthy number of children who are dazzled by some of the toys of my childhood — model train sets, Scalextrix, models to build. There are also collectible dolls and Steiff bears as well as traditional board games and hobbies. It’s a little bit of a trek out of Epsom town centre but you will find a veritable treasure trove of traditional toys.
