Northumberland Heath Library is a small library which is located on Mill Road. You can access the library and it’s car park from Mill Road or if you are on foot you can access it by going down the path which runs between Somerfield and the Royal Oak pub.
Although the library is small it is well organised and has a number of PC terminals which you can use free of charge. As well as books they also rent out a selection of DVD (at a cost).
On Tuesdays there is a baby and toddler singing group which starts at 9.30am and 11.00am. This is really enjoyable and the lady who runs it is very engaging.

North Heath Library is very small for a library. I would describe it as a mini library which is new, plush, modern and a comfortable environment. The selection of books is not large by any stretch of the imagination and it caters mainly in fiction titles. It does have a good selection of DVDs to hire which is a great way to entertain yourself at home and beat the credit crunch.
It’s good to pop in and pick up a book to read but in terms of studying, it does not really do much. Central Library is much better for that kind of thing. Access isn’t a problem as there is a pay and display car park next door and the library is not too busy so you have time to browse and think.
