One of the last traditional pubs left in the area, The Bird is definitely the friendliest.
This is truly one of those places where you enter a stranger, and leave a friend, the reason why so many people return.
The staff and regulars are friendly, they have great live music every Friday/​Sunday, and a fun karaōke with inflatable instruments every other Saturday.
Come along some time and see for yourself!

This is a small but very friendly pub. They have entertainment at the weekend. Saturday night is a great night if you fancy singing. They have a great KJ called The Mystic Mongoose Karaōke hosting from 4pm until 10pm but usually goes on until late. Sunday they have live music
The landlady and landlord a very friendly and helpful along with great staff
