Evelyns store in Stubbington Green is a real find, a proper old fashioned store. Selling pick and mix sweets, money box toys, cards, fine gifts, rolls of material, wool, knitting patterns and odds and ends. Easy to while away an hour browsing at the wide aray of items in stock. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, if you are looking at the crafts side they can advise on patterns for beginners or advanced, put wool to one side if you are not sure how much you require. I always discover something new — its the ideal store for last minute gifts and cards! The store always provides seasonal goods from decorations, ornaments and chocolates, the windows are decorated beautifully, enough to make you stop and have to go in to explore!
