Not great I’m afraid. Went here with my pregnant fiancé and a couple of friends. The place was quiet and the reasons were soon realised. We were sat for too long before a waitress came over and asked for our drinks then waited another 10 minutes before she returned with no drinks but to take our order. Gave our order and asked for our drinks. Waitress seemed to head towards the bar for our drinks but seemed to vanish! Our starters came before our drinks in the end! Starters were averages at best. Main came and halfway through my fiancé found a chip of crockery in her meal. I told the waitress who sent the manager over. To my surprise she questioned me and told me they didn’t have crockery that colour implying it had planted it there! Had to argue this with her and refused to pay for this meal. She reluctantly took it from the bill. Would not recommend, slow service, poor food and unfriendly management to say the least!

This place is disgusting a far cry from when it first opened! I came here a few months ago and we waited over 20 minutes to be served a drink, we ordered a chocolate milkshake to be told that there was none left, we then waited 30 mins from drink to starter, 30 mins from starter to main. Called the manager over and explained the situation and was told there actually was choc shake and he gave us 2 for free as well as 50% off our bill. Went again last weekend just to see what it was like, there was more staff this time and the service was quick however the food was not good. Ordered a chicken fajita and the whole thing had changed from before, there was extra cheese(which was chargeable) more sour cream and guacamole, instead of the wraps that used to come in a steam tray thing they now come rolled up in paper that looks like it was heated up in a micro and now stick together and tear when pulling apart. The chicken was dry, chewy and not at al nice. The place was brighter then before but still a dump. Don’t waste your time here.

For Mexican food in the UK, this place is alright. The service is some of the worst I have encountered thus far in England. We waited 5 minutes to be seated and then another 15 minutes for our server to take our drink order. Our starter came approximately 35 minutes later. We had our starter for about 25 minutes and the server cleared the table and asked if we needed anything else. Confused with this question, my husband responded with, «Just the mains, please.» Another 20 minutes later, the mains arrived and then we waited the usual 15 minutes after we were done eating for our server to clear the table and get our bill. Our visit was not on a busy Friday night — it was from 2 – 4 on Sunday. The restaurant had about 10 tables seated. It was ridiculously awful service given the time and amount of customers. We ordered the chicken nachos as our starter and they were tasty and very filling. I ordered the enchilladas with chili filling and my husband ordered the tapas. Both were just OK. The enchiladas were overcooked as the tortilla was not soft but rather hard, like a tortilla chip. This tells me that my dish was in the oven for way too long. Additionally, there was little filling in the actual enchiladas. The rice was hard(due to being in the oven too long) but overall, it was OK. Like I said, Mexican in the UK is hard to come by, so this place will do but it in no way compares to Tex Mex in the states. The restaurant itself is very nice. It is brand new with ample parking.
