The Print Room is a gallery owned by Shane Record, local artist and keen member of the community. He specialises in paintings of the local area including a particulary loved red telephone box found in Folkestone harbour. He has been campaigning to keen this telephone box open since BT decided they didn’t want to maintain it any longer. He can be seen painting in the window of his gallery five days a week and is happy to have a chat about his work with passers by. He sells his paintings from his gallery but also sells postcard prints of each painting. His gallery is certainly worth a look as he really capture a traditional view of Folkestone.
