We often pop into this pub in summer to grab pints in plastics so we can have beers down by the shingle beach. From the street the bar is traditional and busy. Good quality beers handled with love. Through the bar the restaurant and roof terrace stretch both overlooking the sea. Elegant and modern the food fits the surroundings. This was the first time I have been for lunch and a family visit to grandparents in the rain was the perfect excuse. Food was pretty much faultless — beautifully presented, perfectly cooked from great ingredients. Fish by the sea — as it should be done… Definitely on my return to list for the summer.
