This pub used to be an old house and was converted to the current public house, for as long as I can remember it has always been the«Argyle» however I’m not one hundred percent sure . The pub is mostly frequented by the older generation during the week as they have reduced prices notwithstanding this is not a place I would come into on a regular basis as there is nothing really to shout about but on the weekend especial on a Sunday night there is always live music which is always good,(can’t beat live) the staff are friendly and efficient plus they are all local yo the area which makes things easier for them the toilets are clean and acceptable but it’s not my cup of tea on a week day, but enjoy the weekend for the music and it saves you going into town. I can remember my dad(his rest him) drinking here when he was a young man I was about five or six, where does the time go. On conclusion a decent wee pub for a drink but don’t expect to much 7⁄10
