I have been to pretty much all of the recording studios in Glasgow and I have always found Carlton to be the best. The staff are really friendly and I like the relaxed atmosphere in the studio.

Carlton Studios was the first place I ever rehearsed. We played metal, were loud, overbearing and obnoxious. I cringe thinking about it.
In the ten or so years I’ve been coming here, the studio hasn’t changed much at all. I think that if you’re starting out and weren’t paying much attention to the quality of gear and sound of the rooms then this is a nice wee place to come.
The quality of rehearsal rooms in Glasgow has gone up quite considerably and I can’t imagine coming here over anywhere else unless I was desperate to find a room during a busy spell.
