Popped into this store on Saturday and there were quite a lot of staff working (think I counted 5 or 6) however most of them were standing about chatting. Three of them in particular on the first floor and they told me I had to go downstairs to pay ! Not very good customer service. Even when I went downstairs, one of the staff from the first floor had moved downstairs and again, was standing chatting to two or three other members of staff. I eventually got served but to be honest, I nearly put my merchandise back. I thought I was invisible. Not what I expected and really disappointed. Won't be hurrying back !

It’s a store full of Celtic merchandise. It’s a specific market they’re shooting for, and dammit, they hit it square on. The staff know their stuff, the shop is always spotless, and even the upsell at the till point isn’t that bad. I got a shirt printed for my son, and while waiting, browsed my way into buying a reduced shirt for myself. Honestly, if you want something to do with Celtic, there’s no better place. If you don’t, then you’ll never set foot in the place at all. If you’re a Celtic fan, you’ll be in heaven, and your pennies go directly to the club, so it’s a win-win. Can’t say anything bad about it, as a man of the green-and-white persuasion ;)

Having visited this shop with a fairly strange request — I was looking for a Ki mug for a South Korean friend of mine — I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service I received. Not only was the shop assistant attentive and friendly, but he also took it upon himself to phone the superstore to find out: a) if they had any, and b) the opening hours. As it turns out, they had 105, it’s not one of their big sellers, and it shut at 6pm. The result, a Ki mug for me and an extra star for here.

I popped into this store just before Christmas to buy a few presents. It was a nice place with plenty of choice but the staff were absolutely clueless. I presume they are all Celtic fans but every simple question I asked such as «what is the latest dvd?» «what is the latest book?» was met with a blank look and a «err, I dunno.» I asked every member of staff working at the time these questions and none of them knew! I mean the staff were all friendly enough but I think they could do with brushing up on their knowledge of Celtic merchandise.

Ok so I’m a bit of a Celtic fan so i had to write this review or my dearly departed old Granny would visit me from the great Paradise in the sky and kick my arse green and white. So, to save my bottom from a kicking, here goes. This place is pretty much what you’d expect form a football club shop. Everything you could ever imagine owning can be bought here decked in the colours of Glasgow Celtic. Ever wanted to buy a Celtic toaster that printed the popped up slices of white with«Celtic» blazed across the toast? no, well probably best not to come hear then. Priced in the same vain as everything related to football and the old firm in Scotland, namely bloody pricey, the Celtic Store is however a one stop shop for a gift for the Celtic minded. Although not really into my sporty gear or really that keen on mindless or pointless branding, i still have a wee look in hear on the odd occasion to satisfy the wee guy in me who still wants a Celtic ball for Christmas, my name on the back of my shirt and a Celtic pencil case… if this is you or you know a small chap who would like this kind of thing then swallow your trendy pride and get your ass into the Celtic Store… Oh, special prize goes to anyone who can go into one of these stores and not be served by somebody who looks like they’re the secret lovechild of an orangutan and a satsuma.
