Évaluation du lieu : 4 Dennistoun, Glasgow, United Kingdom
Today was the first day of the Sunday carvery and there were a few teething problems with their timings(glad we didn’t turn up right at 2pm!), which I’m sure they’ll iron out for next week. There were 3 roasts on offer; turkey, beef and ham as well as a station to help yourself to veggies, potatoes, gravy and various sauces. I opted for a slice each of beef and turkey. Great choice! The turkey was almost melt in the mouth and sliced beautifully. I’d say the beef was a little overdone, but I’m the type of person who likes their beef to be cooked medium-rare and I suppose they’ve got to strike a balance that suits the majority of people. It’s not fine dining, you are after all sitting in a «caff» that predominantly does takeaway rolls and soup the rest of the week, but it is good, tasty, home cooked food at a great price. There were desserts on offer but being a little pushed for time meant I never got to indulge. Maybe next time.
