Eclectic Ink are what all good tattoo/piercing places should be: Clean, friendly, knowledgable and very encouraging! If you’re looking for personalised service with a tattoo artist who will take great care of you and make sure you’re happy with the work she does, this is the place. I’ve been tattooed twice by Nadia, am booking in for my third piece and highly recommend her. No question is too stupid, no piece too geeky! I’ve been to other studios but have never felt more comfortable getting needles stuck in me has I have here. EI is a small studio with just one piercer and one tattoo artist but what they lack in size they more than make up for in style. Both owners care deeply about making sure you come away from the shop smiling, and I always do — or else I wouldn’t keep going back!

Right ok so i ain’t got any tattoos, not because i don’t want to but because my real name is Big scared Mc Jessie and the thought of causing myself, or indeed paying someone to inflict bodily harm to me just, well, just ain’t my thang. Now despite this attitude i do like a good old nosey at tattoo parlours just on the off chance that i develop a set of dangly bits and decide to go for it, and i have to say this one looks pretty good. How can you tell? well i cant, but when i went in i saw not one single photo of a Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Tasmanian Devil or British Bulldog… that for me is always an excellent sign. I also kind of like this place as the owner, or at least the guy who works there can often be seen sitting in the shop window relaxing with a book when he ain’t busy… this appeals to the book reading lazy arsed person within me, so kind of adheres the place further to me
