Best barbers in Glasgow by a country mile. Been going there for a few years and yet to get a bad hair-​cut, no matter who does it. John, the owner (or“JD” as everyone calls him), is bang on, makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere in the place is great, they’re always having a laugh and i come out with a smile on my face every time. The missus has started going to the ladies salon next door and she loves it. and she looks pretty damn hot with her new hair style I might add!

Best Barber in Glasgow by a mile. Brilliant set up and a comfortable waiting area with big screen tvs. I’d say John is the best there, but they all do a cracking job. I’d suggest them to anyone.

Girasoli hits that balance between old school barbers– a place for men, and no nonsense, thank you– and the modern, metro-​sexual saloon. It feels comfortably cool, and masculine: none of this pandering to pastel colours and skin care business, but not a vision of nacho hell, either. The chat from the cutters is pretty good, the drink is on tap, and the prices not extortionate. It feels pretty serious, without being pompous: that is, they know their hair and how to get the best style, but they don’t show off about it!
