Goodd is a little off the wall in its concept. The furniture store does its best to represent the out of the ordinary, but not in a weird way, instead in a bit of a cool quirky and often beautiful way. I like Goodd, on top of intriguing pieces it offers meaning too furniture, something not often done. If you like art and in particular stuff that makes a statement, then you should probably visit goodd when you start redecorating that back room. In fact this stuff is too cool for the back room, lets make that the front room. Grab yourself some pretty unique and worthwhile pieces of room accessories.

I love this furniture and home accessories store! Goodd is quite a unique concept in that it sells contemporary and interesting items through the store but also acts as a design gallery which exhibits furniture as working installations in the store and at various venues throughout Glasgow. I love going into a store like Goodd where most of the items they sell have to be explained to you as you are not 100% sure exactly what they are! Many items are also trying to make some sort of statement. For example one humble tea towel called«audit» is used to ask what are our opinions really worth and questions the value we put on them(or so the label said anyway!), pretty deep stuff for a tea towel! I’m not going to lie though, I am not a particularly arty person and I mostly like Goodd because it sells some cool looking stuff! I like the lamps that look like milk bottles and the ipod speaker that looks like a balloon, simple mind simple pleasures! Goodd is definitely worth a look just for the unique arty angle of it even if you don’t fancy investing in some tea towels to help express some sort of social commentary.
