BAKED GOODIES
I know I reaaaaaallly shouldn’t-but I luuuurve me a Greggs… moooostly for the cake and sweet stuff, I have to admit! I’m not a lover of pasties etc… so it’s all about the gâteaux pour moi!
I regularly «treat» myself (mostly en route to work, early doors on a Friday-​so that’s OK!) to a wee yum-​yum (YUMMEEEEEE!!) or a cupcake! I ADORE the wee seasonal cakes they do; just now it’s a love heart ring on top of a sugar-​heart scattered iced sponge cupcake… Light’n’lovely! But obv, verrrrrry sweet!
They also do a hangover-​busting BARGAINOUS brekkie with a roll & sausage/​bacon and a cuppa for £2-​which is a great price for the city centre!
The onnnnly reason this is not a full 5-​starrer is due to the size of the queues… just anticipate the busy times (we all know when they are!!!) and assign some more counter staff!!!

This is a very small branch of Greggs but the staff are efficient and you don’t need to queue too long although you will need to queue.
Good selection of food, although after 2pm there is not much left. Not far to walk to another store if there’s not much left.
