When i think of Greggs, the first word that comes into my mind is «scum». I seem to be the only person in Britain not to have an affection for the place. The staff are miserable, the savouries are disgusting unless hot(which they seldom are), and across the board the food has a very processed taste. On top of that everything about the place just feels grim, and I can’t help but feel a tinge of sympathy for the poor old bags behind the counter, condemned to shovelling sausage rolls for the rest of their days. I’ll still probably go in tomorrow though, it’s just so convenient.

Dear Mr Greggs(or Mrs Greggs… whoever), I wish to thank you fully for saving skin on several occasions — when you wake up hungover, there’s nothing like a Greggs sausage roll, and a bottle of Irn Bru to sort you out on the way to work, at 8am. Your stores may be busy, but you’ve definitely got it right — get in, pick your food, pay, get out. There’s no flaffing about. Even if it doesn’t look like store has anything you want, they always have more«in the oven» or «in the back». Genius. So thank you for your bakery service — the grumpy men and women should wear their hairnets with pride. Thanking you, Darryl

this is one of my favourite greggs in town, because they pre-pack the hot baked goodies(as opposed to having to ask a menopausal woman to shovel a sausage roll into a bag) — so the service is rapidless time twixt entrance and eating. oh, and check out the yum yums — the name pretty much says it all

Really bust little store located just off Sauchiehall St. Busy throughout the day so be prepred to queue. Good selection of hot and cold food and freshly prepared sandwiches.
