Greggs

This is my most favourite branch of Greggs, which is possibly my favourite of all the yummy hot food shops. It actually has a real community feel to it, which is surprising on account of it being not much more that a fast food outlet. They do all the usual delicious sandwiches, hot pastries and soup, as well as a mouth watering collection of sweet cake like treats. My favourites are the fudge donuts and the chocolate ones with cream in them. Mmmmmmmm. This branch has lovely staff who know all the regulars, and this includes all the lovely old ladies who use it as a real bakers rather than only the local workies who use it for a quick lunch (though there is nothing wrong with that either!) I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area, but to be honest there are so many lovely Greggs around now, that I wouldn’t say it’s worth going out your way.
