Instore

Previously a poundstretcher, this instore seems to me an improvement on such stores and was pretty much a godsend when I lived in a flat round the corner. One of very few shops like this in Anniesland which is ideal when you quickly need little bits and pieces for the flat without going too far and without breaking the bank.
It has a bit of everything. Bedding, furniture (I picked up a wee desk here which I used as a dressing table — super cheap! Carrying it up three flights of stairs wasn’t so fun though), stationary and even food. The food is worth checking out for offers though, as often is the case with these places, sometimes you can actually get it cheaper elsewhere so don’t be lured too quickly in by the big £1 signs.
Sure it isn’t the best quality and there is an amount of tat to trail through but if wanting a little something to brighten up a flat in Anniesland or nearby it’s worth a trip. It shares a carpark with Morrisons and the other stores in the mini retail park so even better for those with cars.
