This is a typical clash of good food vs really crap service.
The setting is a bit drab and dated. The fish tank is small for the three large fish in it and is sickeningly covered in algae. Décor was nothing to write home about.
We placed a straightforward request to amend one of the mains and this started the ball rolling on an evening of poor service when they seemed unable to confirm if they could or couldn’t do it.
The waiting staff’s English is very poor and they seem to be in mortal dread of the owner who interjected with a terrible attitude.
The food, however, was absolutely delicious.
Overall and thinking back I think this is a very generous 2 stars.

Good quality Chinese restaurant and carry out in Giffnock, Glasgow. The food is above average compared to many carry outs with a much fresher feel to it — crunchier vegetables and not greasy. Staff are efficient and polite and food is always ready for collection quickly.
