This is a small family run independent butcher. It is scrupulously clean and staff have excellent hygiene standards — always washing hands after each customer. They stock a good range of high quality raw meats as well as cooked cold cuts of meat. Their ham on the bone is fabulous. It’s really nice to still find genuine butchers as opposed to having to buy meat from supermarkets. Another advantage is that you can buy small quantities rather than large paks of meat. The staff are very helpful and are able to offer advice on the best cuts of meat and how to prepare and cook them.
