I got these Piri Piri chicken bites and BQ bites yesterday. They were ok. BQ was nice. The Piri Piri was naff. Is it me just thinking. Are things almost double than they were 10 years ago?

Just same old, greasy and fake tasting, The boneless bucket is something that lures me into KFC everytime, no matter how many times I tell myself it wasn’t as good as I thought last time, there it is in my hand again. It is a battle I am still fighting. I must say I would never sit in kfc, it isn’t exactly a place to chill, relax or feel comfortable. The plastic chairs are just the start of this unwelcome experience, then there is the pool of unknown liquid that is usually cordoned off with signs until someone is bothered to rmove it. However I must say that staff are obliging and fulfil my request to exchange some of the items in the boneless banquet(sometimes).

The best KFC in the City Centre, which says alot. It’s on a good location, near other familiar eateries like McDonalds and Pizza Hut. It’s got an upstairs which is nice enough, looking out on Union Street and it can get pretty busy. I am cutting back on my fast food, and quite successfully I should add. Suffice to say, I am prone to grabbing a cheeky snackbox out of here from time to time and it always hits the spot. The chips from all KFC’s go soggy really quickly so I don’t suggest taking a bucket home from here as the chips will be out of the question by the time you sit down to eat them.

By all accounts a pretty grim place, KFC is saved by it’s food, which, if you’re in the right mood, is utterly delicious, and will likely contribute to you having a heart attack before you hit 40. You can stuff yourself here for under a fiver, but don’t bother with the fries as like every other KFC they appear to be made from cardboard. Ask politely and you may get to swap them for a corn cob instead.
