Not a big fan of Mango at all. I think it is a little on the minimalistic boring side, and is pretty over priced for what you get. The only thing I have ever bought from here was a chunky knit cardi, which was adorably soft and gorgeous, but cost me about £60, and was probably much more expensive than I would have normally paid. This store is over two floors, one floor too many in my opinion. I just don’t see anything that interests me at all.

What’s that I hear you say? What you’d really like to find in the Buchanan Galleries is a large and spacious Mango store that stretches over two floors? Well, how about this; there is one! Surprisingly this is one of the bigger clothes shops in the Buchanan Galleries(excepting the likes of Next, H&M and John Lewis). It’s beautifully set out — with the minimalist style really showing off the quality and colours of the clothes. Even though this IS a high street store, this set out makes Mango feel a lot more luxurious and exclusive than perhaps it really is. Of course, true to form, you can expect the salespeople in this Mango store to be beautifully dressed, few and far between and a little bit aloof. To be honest, though, I think this just adds to the ambience of the place. And hey, if you really want their attention — just flash your credit card around a bit. That usually works.

I am a big fan of Mango and I like how you don’t find one on every high street and in every shopping centre. You are much less likely to bump into someone wearing the same outfit if you get something from Mango than say Topshop or River Island. I really like Mangos great range of basics from tops to knitwear to jeans but the real joys of Mango are the usual dresses, especially in the summer time when this shop is full of beautiful maxi dresses. You can also pick up some quirky work wear which is great if you have to dress smart for the office but don’t want to look bland and boring! I am not a fan of sale shopping at all, the crowds, the queuing, and the piles of junk you have to sift through just for the possibility of finding some sort of bargain. However I do like the Mango sale. Generally the store is laid out exactly the same at sale time as any other time with jumpers folded on tables and trousers on rails in order of style and size, rather than the«let’s just shove all this old crap on a removable rail» approach which a lot of stores take. I don’t know how the staff manage to keep it so organized, well as organized as a sale area can be!

This has got to be one of the best shops in Buchanan Galleries, it’s got class! It is well laid out, spacious and the clothes are extremely well displayed. None of this crushed up railings and ranks. Every style is given it’s own space and you can clearly see the cut of the piece and the range of colours it is available in. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the products. The materials are soft, flattering and always cut well. Sale prices are particularly good with up to 70% off some items. Staff are helpful, pleasant and never forget their ‘please’ and ‘thank you’s. Keep your eyes peeled for their knit wear. Oh, so nice sexy jumpers.

Mango has some really beautiful outfits, I like their dresses in particular. This Mango is quite a big size and stocks a huge range of different clothes and they have a huge range of sizes too. As well as clothes, they also have stunning accessories and I’m always drawn to their ever changing window displays. Although I like the clothes in Mango, I think they’re a little over-priced which usually leads to me heading to Topshop or H&M instead.

A spanish chain that houses stunning pieces of well tailored womens wear, from casual to evening wear mango has a superb collection every season. Prices reflect the quality but not so much as to have to save for pieces. Refined designs that also tailor for those women with longer legs and they also have a shoe line. Staff are usually helpful. Large fitting rooms so even on busy days you dont have to wait in line for ever to try on the clothes.
