I just love staying in hotels! This one was a very nice room and great location. The breakfast staff were amazing but I personally didn’t like the breakfast. Would stay again.

My third time at this friendly family run hotel and this time I am on the ground floor.
I mention that as the place doesn’t have a lift but instead a beautiful grand (read: wide) staircase. Of the many reasons why I return, top is the location: come out and turn left and it’s 10 – 15 mins to the down-​town shops, turn right and you’re straight into the West End, via the stunning Kelvingrove park.
The other reasons? the aforementioned friendliness and of course their brilliant breakfast that set you up for the day. Served in their basement restaurant, the staff are super fast. No sooner have you grabbed a table as they are there taking your hot food order. Whilst your full Scottish breakfast — or whatever you choose is being cooked up, help yourself to toast, coffee, juice, croissants, cereal, yoghurt — pretty much whatever your breakfast fancy is!
This is a basic but clean hotel with Wi-​Fi and 24 hour reception and they’ll look after your cases for you after you have checked up leaving you more time to explore gorgeous Glasgow. Highly recommend.
