I’ma sad little nerd when it comes to stationery and I love buying things like pinboards, fancy paperclips, pens, etc. No, seriously. It’s pathetic, but there you go. Staples is great for this kind of thing and this isn’t a bad store to do it in. They have larger branches, but you can get most everything you need in this one including office furniture which is what we were after on our last visit. One thing that impressed was the packaging of the components when we unpacked the office chair. I should have take a picture, but rather than a big bag with all the bits in, they were divided into pockets with a label on each detailing which step of the instructions they were to be used with. No more *thinking* you have the right screw or bolt — these are the ones or step 6, no others. Staff were nice enough and it’s fairly easy to find what you’re after.

Had never been in one of these stores until a few weeks ago when I tagged along with a friend. It’s full of all sorts of office supplies like ink cartridges, toners, paper etc and even laptops and furniture. I was just expecting racks and racks of paper, but it was more like a B and Q than anything else. There’s not alot you could think of that they don’t have in here, really. Price wise, it’s really good. You just need to do some maths in your head first as alot of the products are more in bulk than you would find in a high street stationary store. As is always the case, buying in bulk works out cheaper. If I had a car I might have stocked up on ten years worth of paper, but I don’t so I bought some envelopes.
