Superwok

It was 11.30 on a Sunday night and the cupboards were bare. Starving, I frantically rummaged through the takeaway menus in the kitchen drawer to find that pretty much everywhere nearby had closed at 11. So I was overjoyed to come across one that opened until midnight: Superwok to the rescue!
I ordered a vegetable chow mein and chips, which were delivered to my door in about ten minutes, for only £6.50 including delivery charge. The chow mein was filled with big juicy mushrooms, chunky peppers and big lovely slices of spring onion: very tasty indeed. As for the chips, I have come to expect soggy recooked chips from Chinese restaurants, however these were fresh and crispy, much to the satisfaction of my tastebuds.
I was very impressed by this place, its quality of food and speed of delivery. A super Chinese takeaway indeed.

Another Saturday night takeaway, we tried Super Wok on Duke Street as it seems to be one of the busier Chinese takeaways.
We got our usual unadventurous fare of sweet and sour chicken and a chicken chow mein. The meal was really good. Everything tasted very fresh. No free prawn cracker, but that didn’t matter, as the main event was delish.
