No problem with the store which I rarely visit but unsure of security guard . Something I bought still had tag on an we were stopped by security guard and he went through my shopping to find the item. Having worked in security for 30 years a security guard is not permitted to go through your bag and have to ask you to empty it.

Really large tesco with so much to choose from. Have just had my eyes tested and chosen (buy 1 get 1 free) new specs.

This tesco has a costa coffee in it which is awesome. The staff are cheery and helpful and make an effort to get to know the regulars (me).

Spacious and quieter than the other Glasgow Extra stores with easy parking and petrol station. Extensive electrical section including an iPad bar and Samsung booth. However this comes at the expense of the food and the range is less extensive than the Extras at Silverburn and St Rollox, with far smaller butcher, fish and deli sections. Aisles are spaced nicely, but again this limits the available produce.

A large Tesco Extra store in the east end of Glasgow, around the same size as the one in St Rollox. Has a wide variety of stock, including clothes, electrical equipment, TVs, DVDs/​games as well as food. I quite like this Tesco as it always seems a bit quieter than the others in Glasgow (particularly Silverburn). Has a large car park, petrol station and self-​service tills. Clean and well-​stocked.
