Really enjoyed our visit to this small tidy Asian bistro. The food was yummy, but unfortunately we needed to pay in cash, not an easy thing for travelers just in from the US. Unless they have changed their policy, be sure to bring your cash.

I live very close to this restaurant and pass it most nights — seems business has been slow since it opened. I wanted to support a local restaurant and decided to buy takeaway. The restaurant only had one table sitting when I arrived. Despite it not being busy(one table seated on a Friday night) I had to wait for close to a minute whilst a young waitress and the young server started a conversation about dogs whilst I was standing waiting to be served — I wasn’t acknowledged at all. After well over a minute, the waitress pointed that I should have my order taken(even then only because I think I look incredulous). Bad bad customer service — I was close to walking away. The restaurant wasn’t busy but customers came second to staff conversations. Lost one star right there. We ordered the chicken satay, Singapore chow mein and the Salt and Chilli chicken chow mein. The satay was great — three skewers in the portion, delicious and the vegetables accompanying tasted crisp and fresh. The chow meins were good too — they both had a similar smokey flavour, were cooked very well(not oily as you find in many other restaurants) and the portion sizes were very generous. Good food, good price, good portions however a customer almost lost due to bad service.

Opening up close to where I wander, this place is immaculate. The food is well presented, delicious and plentiful in portion. the only criticism I can throw at it is that the menu is bog standard fair, I’m sure they are capable of something more exciting.

Just opened a week ago, so felt I had to pop in for a visit and am so pleased I did. Sunday late afternoon we dropped by and was taken to our table at the window. The menu was very appetising. We opted for the pre theatre as it had a great selection on offer. 2 courses for around £9 and 3 for £12. Food was delicious! Great quality and not mean on portions by any stretch. Great local restaurant I’ll be sure to use as regular. Will certainly be back.
