The fairly long queue to order was more than worth it for the excellent food! We had a vegan and a meat eater who both are stupendously well! The cakes were awesome too!

I have been eating here for many years and really enjoy the home cooked veggie food that is so well prepared. Enjoy.

Lovely café, lovely situated area. I came here with my other half and had a lovely curry with mango chutney and pittabread and sat outside in the sun, the outside was lovely and calm, not busy at all, very friendly staff. Recommended :)

Rainbow’s End is a Glastonbury institution. It serves vegetarian food and some vegan food as well. Big portions, quiches, salads, homity pie, spanakopita, mezze, garlic potatoes and carrot cake(possibly the yummiest carrot cake anywhere!) are amongst my favourite things. Lovely courtyard garden out at the back for warm, sunny days with parasols, a sort of conservatory area and a room inside where the counter is. It’s not a big place. Not quite as popular as it used to be… more competition now. But you may well have to wait a short while for a table. Worth it though! A Rainbow’s End lunch is one of life’s pleasures.

Have to echo the compliments of the reviewer above. I have eaten there for more years than I can care to imagine when in Glastonbury never had a bad meal, standard always excellent and there is just something special about the food.

I have been eating here on and off since the 1970s and have never had a bad meal. The food is all vegetarian and wholefood with a changing rollcall of specials each day. The dishes are imaginative, large and exemplary as is the very long(non-alcoholic) drinks list. The one thing to be aware of is the fact that it is small and very popular — always try to get there early for lunch otherwise a wait for a table may ensue. It used to be a bit expensive but the prices have stayed relatively stable and now is only averagely priced, which is good. I recommend the homity pie when it is on as being almost worth going round again for it is so nice!
