Disappointing like a lot of pubs in hotels tend to be. They did at least have a couple of ales (Hobgoblin & Pride) and a couple of decent bottled beers but nothing especially interesting.
We decided to grab some food. My French onion soup wasn’t bad but it was kind of small. My wife’s cream of tomato soup had to be sent back because the ‘cream of’ looked very iffy. They gave us a replacement to be fair to them.

Been here a few times with my family when I used to live in the area, ordered a few things of the menu and enjoyed them! Would defiantly come here again if I could, good food, good waiting time, lovely atmosphere and a lovely garden at the back!

A Beefeater Inn, one of the better chain family restaurants. Always get a decent quality meal for not a bad price. On my visit I found the service very good. Beer choice was limited and not good quality.

Has been run by a few chains now a beefeater again
Lovely location, backing on to the Wey, good garden
Service was on the slow side, especially as we were dining early and it wasn’t busy not very friendly either. On a positive note food, the usual beefeater fare was good and prices are reasonable
