China 88

China 88 is a massive Chinese help yourself/​restaurant/​take away that took a massive risk when it opened. It did so because it was opening in competition with 30ish smaller established Chinese, but so far so good for china 88. It’s food is good, it’s service brilliant, and the restaurant itself cosy. The food isn’t better as some of the smaller take always in Grantham, but easily on par, so these smaller take always should feel in fret, but china 88 will live long in Grantham. Furthermore, China 88’s bar area is pathetically small, and although the staff order the drinks for you, you can see they struggle on a busy night. Over all China 88 is brilliant for any occasions, and teh few niggles it does have are forgivable. If Qype had a better ratting systam I would give it 3.8/ 5.0
