Cocktail 88

Cocktail 88 is a trendy bar were the owner obviously want you to visit after a nice meal you pop into cocktail 88 for a drink. On entering its dark; unnecessary, why not let in some natural light, or up the lights, it’s making out that it’s a night club when it obviously isn’t. The price of drinks is unbelievably expensive; you feel like you need to bring the deeds to your house, not your wallet. I had three cocktails which came to £17, unbelievable! The service is also below standard, service without a smile, and no thanks for your order or Is that all sir, nope just here’s your drink.
It’s such a shame about cocktail 88. When it was opened it was a nice idea, and unique to Grantham, and could of been so much more. There’s another place in town, so much better that cocktail 88, and that’s the chequers, a hidden little gem, that will please anyone looking for a Trendy Bar, and once everyone discovers it, Cocktail 88 will fade away into the dark.
