Still love this place! I really appreciate the friendly, great service I get here. Everyone is really lovely and very helpful. Still love the soy vanilla chai and Hot Spiced Apple(which I had today)! I did notice that there is no more loyalty card =(, but I’ll still go.

The nicest place for coffee in, the backwards, quaint, Tory hole of a town that I, without hesitation call home, even though I moved away 7years ago. Ran by a team of younger barista’s, who either have been taught the finer details of great customer service, or have been served an innate understanding of warmness in hosting. Across the board, not the smartest bunch, but friendly and always good for a bit of morning banter or polite conversation. The coffee is good, cheap and there is a selection of sandwiches, which though overpriced, do not taste or smell like they have been exported in from Europe on the back of the proverbial Bannana boat. There is always a jazz/funk playlist, playing quietly In the background, adding to a relaxed and tenable atmosphere. Even Pearl by Joplin gets played, which is never a bad thing! A little small in size, but always clean — oh and free, password unprotected wifi to connect your laptop/iPad to whenever you want. A trusting and useful resource, which allows. People like myself the opportunity to post happy reviews like the above. It’s been around since I was 16 and i’m delighted to see that as many business have closed on the Grantham high street, it is still going strong — even in the wake of the opening of the first chain café on the High street. The costa by comparison is cold, more expensive, the coffee is worse, the staff are inattentive 16yr olds with superiority complexes, leaving the place consistently looking like a stye.
