Don’t expect to get what you pay for. The tapas dishes aren’t fresh, seasonal or tasty. This place, like other LA Tasca’s just lacks finesse. The atmosphere is nice, the décor is cute and the staff are often friendly. It’s a nice place to come for a spot of lunch al fresco by the lake. But try to come when there is a good offer to take advantage of — microwaved tit bits and wilted salad should not cost the earth.

I just love La Tasca! I’ve written a review on the one near Liverpool Street station and I need to just reconfirm in this review that I really enjoy the food at La Tasca restaurants. There’s so much choice on the menu and it’s great when there are new tapas dishes to try. I wasn’t so keen on the dish with octopus in it but oh well. You’re not bound to like everything! This particular restaurant at Lakeside shopping centre has very good customer service although on one occasion they have taken a while to go fetch the bill but I forgive them. The staff are always friendly too. Looking forward to dining here again.

This is a little bit of Spain in a superb location overlooking the lake. The staff are fantastic cant do enough for you. Check out the special deals on tapas and get your discount with their loyalty card. They have a great selection of Cava and refreshing sangria. Our server was called Sandra fantastic, brilliant at her job as are all the staff. So if its a great time, great food and wine, and memories of Spain your after then this is the place for you

probably the best customer service I’ve ever had in any restaurant.

I hadnt been here before, but was sent a 50 per cent off voucher, so decided to try out the food here. The restaurant is in a row of restaurants called the Boardwalk in Lakeside Shopping Village. It has parking nearby, which is right next to the VUE cinema, if this car park is full, there are many other ones in the area. When we arrived in the restaurant we were greeted very warmly and quickly seated. The atmosphere was very nice, dimly lit and very romantic. We ordered a selection of Tapas from the menu, we told them before that we had a voucher, so the waitress showed us which bits of the menu we could choose from. I think we ordered around 8 small dishes. The meal took a while to come. I was a little disappointed in the meal, I thought all the dishes should of had more flavour. I have been to a small tapas bar in London before and the taste was out of this world, so maybe that was what I had put La Tasca against. I would not rule out going here again, but definately would not pay full price!
