House of Fraser (Stores)

Maybe I hate department stores. Yeah, a full-​on pathological hate of department stores. Alternatively, I’m amongst those people who remembers when departments stores had clothes that you couldn’t pick up in other places. Nowadays, House of Fraser is basically a collection of small retail nodes, with clothes from shops or designers who already have a presence in Bluewater. As such, this place strikes me as entirely pointless. Why look at a smaller range of clothes, all packed in, when you can see a bigger range in a bigger space? It has a lot of stuff, much of it decent, it just doesn’t make sense to me to buy it here.
